Perverted American Policing says
Huffington? Or just Remnants of OK Corral?
The Holly & Fred Value System? |
Patrick Lockyer
Quote from Huffington
''In the consensus judgment of America's 16 intelligence
agencies, the terrorist threat to our homeland is ''persistent and
evolving,'' placing our country in ''a heightened threat
environment.'' Given that chilling assessment, is sending undercover
police officers into airport bathrooms to spend all day trying to
get other men to look at them and tap their feet really the best use
of our limited law enforcement resources? Exactly how much taxpayer
money is being spent around the country on wasteful sting operations
like this one? Since the news about Sen. Craig broke, the media
focus has been on his sexual perversions. It's time to turn the
spotlight on the perverted priorities of America's law enforcement
community.''
The perverted priorities of America's law enforcement community
have been off the wall since the hanging judges and the Gunfight at
OK Corral and Bonnie and Clyde. America is surely victim of her past
excesses. You will hate me for mentioning it as a Brit but having
said that I love America. I was brought up in those excesses and
dutifully went to 'Saturday morning pictures' with hundreds of Brit
kids to see shows with Hopalong Cassidy and Roy Rogers and Flash
Gordon. I later fixed my value system using Gary Cooper in 'High
Noon' and Shane as my mentors and later Fred the writer in Breakfast
at Tiffany's. I was awestruck at the demise of Bonnie and Clyde no
matter what their crime and it could not happen in Britain even in
that era. To me it paves the way to someday, taking out a villain in
a taxi with an excocet missile just as they have done to wheelchair
ridden Palestinians in taxi's in the West Bank. Ann Coulter on Sean
Hannity saying some while ago that we should 'bomb Iran until they
cannot build even a transistor radio' and you wonder at the
excesses? I have seen and read of many such excesses and you guys
just go to dinner. Maybe you are excused like my honey is for having
no time as she is on a compulsory 50 hour week for no extra pay?
What is it with you though? Making money IS part of life but being
in a treadmill and bragging of it is plain stupid. Where I come from
the workers rule. They have to be treated fairly and they would NOT
be required to work above normal schedule without massive
compensation. It's not that you guys have your heads in the sand
like many other nations think over your last election results but
that you are kept on a short leash and just don't have the
opportunity or confidence to tell the boss to 'stick it'? Hopefully
that will change. Don't let them assure you that YOU are the master
race for your work ethic. You will not see old age if you are
stressed beyond good health. What will you have slaved for? Anyway
we digress.
The issue of 'Policing'. When I heard that a bus driver in NY
State who was late on schedule due to traffic, took a short cut and
was harassed by passengers and made a reference to 'Al Qaeda'. Next
minute he was surrounded by 18 police cars who should have been busy
with real issues in NY? When I heard that I knew we were in trouble.
Excesses with mental patients and with post Katrina folks and with
82 year old scared homeowners being blown away on their own
doorsteps by police and no justice from it just confirms it. THIS IS
OK Corral. It Is OK to be excessive in any way since 9/11. It is all
OK and in the name of security. The numbers of immigrants allowed
over time to amass without concerns till 9/11. The criminalizing of
millions of people by moving the goal posts. OK Corral them in and
then deny them driving licenses so that they turn to crime. When
they burgle or worse to survive then deport them. They have been
suckered in since the days of 'Lonesome Dove', a movie from a time
when it was OK Corral to go into Mexico to steal cattle and horses
(and by lawmen) and then to have them stolen back. The killing that
went along with that era is part of what we see now. It really is a
case of 'What goes around, comes around' but now there are some who
stupidly think that a Berlin Wall will do the trick just like the
Roman Hadrian sought to keep out the oafish Scots from Roman
conquered England. History should teach nations but mostly the Power
nations like Roman Italy and Greece and Egypt seem to have fallen on
their own swords. America is primed to do the same if change, change
and more change does not take place soon.
