I am sure that Gordon Brown has no desire to leave USA in the lurch in Iraq but it should be plain that a multi national force should administer Iraq through its transition and then there will be less likely to have the trigger happy and retribution issues that have dogged the occupancy of late. I would imagine also that it will not be considered to be collaboration to work with United Nations towards a peaceful Iraq and so the suicide bombing might diminish. The issue of who enters Iraq after USA leave is a matter for them and not for us? Al Qaeda were NOT there in Saddam’s time and no doubt would be disengaged in Iraq again. We must not confuse Al Qaeda helping to remove the occupiers with Al Qaeda wanting to bomb USA? They are Middle Eastern Nations and WILL gather together against an invasive occupational force.

We also have to get away from trying to control which party is the people’s choice in the Middle East as that just will not work. That will not work anymore than it would have worked for the UK to have refused to work and talk with Sinn Fein, the Irish Republican Army Political Group. Obama has it right that we MUST talk to all persons and not be so elitist and pompous as it alienates even to a worse degree. As Winston Churchill said about his worst objectors who he embraced into his Government, “It is better to have them in your tent peeing outwards than outside your tent peeing inwards?”

The worst people to stop or slow or prevent a new beginning are the talk radio and Fox people who seem to do better to have everyone scared to vote for complete withdrawal from Iraq. I have to laugh that THEY do the damage that stops everything and then THEY brag about ‘running America’ and then they also quote the low approval of Congress for not being able to overcome the ‘talk radio’ propaganda. It is clear what the people of America now want and they want change. Talk radio and Fox want to drag that out for all its worth. They ARE NOT the voice of the people that is for sure but they manage by subterfuge to keep a hold over a lot of scared people regarding that supposed attacks on our cities that will occur if we leave Iraq. The facts though ARE clear. The Muslims that are NOW incensed over our treatment of Muslims are NOT the ones that were in evidence before 9/11. Now what we have is a NEW lot of radicals in various countries who are seething over Abu Ghraib and Haditha and stories emerging from Guantanamo of false arrest spurred by American Bounty Hunting and without any real evidence and as a result of statements from American Statesmen saying “ we will keep them in there till they die’. I heard that and was appalled. The problem is that too many Americans since 9/11 reason that we have to be brutal and we need not care for truth and honesty anymore but just need to ‘get it done’. That old chestnut of Semper FI will not be any good against terrorism. People who are willing to strap bombs on cannot be beaten by brute force. We have to examine the reasons for their desire to end it all. This CR*P about so many virgins does not equate to the level of intelligence it requires to wait and plan and take flight training and execute almost perfectly the taking down of THE two most iconic buildings in the world. I doubt that you could recruit the people to do it and carry it off from Iraqi's anyway. They had to be smart, they had to fit in, They had to be patient, they had to be brave, (I know that will hurt folks but it is time now to accept that) they had to research, they had to collect the finances, they had to train, they had to be totally committed to their cause. Their cause is killing and I decry that but we have had to look at whether we have been unbiased and fair in our dealings with Muslims as in Gaza and the Left Bank. Quietly we have made changes. We were not welcome in Saudi Arabia. We have slimmed that down. We are still not doing it entirely right though and we still hate to go and concede as it is NOT the American way. We cannot say we won? It is not like Japan, it is not like Germany, there is no surrender and there is no one we can nuke although there are itchy fingers to nuke Iran I suspect. I hope that King Bush does not intend to go out on the back of an Iran aimed Nuke just for the ‘Steve McQueen’ of it? Hope not and that a diplomat takes over be it Clinton or Obama or whoever.

One of the things that I read of and detest is that there is a futuristic War Room several dimensions greater than the one that Churchill had during WW11, hidden somewhere in the Middle East where 500 super trained technical experts are able to send unmanned drones to spy on and kill people who live in atrocious conditions that we have imposed on them. We sanctioned them for ten or so years and then bomb them and occupy them and send gunships against dilapidated weapons and we see the state of the opposition with no Air Force and no Army and no Navy and we don’t see the implications of engaging that technology against these inferior dust bowl peoples who kill collaborators as did the Free French. Google ‘patrick lockyer’ to see my videos about the infantile responses of US military to bombing Mosques and then we wonder why they hate us so?

It is ironic that in one of those videos the young grunt retorts “and still they want to f*ck with us”. He should be working in Wal Mart by the sound of it. We do not win heart and minds if anyone actually understands that concept and actually does not call a sub machine gun his ‘baby’. Wake up Please?
