Hate Against Hate

Many agree that the killing of 8 Israeli solders and capturing 2 others was an unprovoked act of war by Hezbollah. But many should also agree that in retaliation of killing dozens of innocent civilians in Lebanon by Israel is worse than that action. 80 Palestinians have lost their lives since Israeli troops entered in Gaza after an Israeli soldier was kidnapped there. Israeli soldiers can enter any time in Philistine territory and capture any one and then his or her fate is unknown to the world.  If abduction of its soldiers is an illegal move, then why has Israel captured hundreds of Palestinians without charges? Retaliatory actions against each other are not new in the Middle East and roots back to more than 50 years.

Israel is a major power in Middle East and the problem doesn’t lie in the existence of Israel, but it lays in the philosophy and ideology of Israel’s strategy. From day one of its creation, Israel used force as the basic instrument to rule. Most of the time victims are innocent civilians. Israel virtually controls every thing of Philistine and it never hesitated in using the basic necessities of life as a threat to comply with Philistine for its demands. This attitude made things worst there.  Was Israel created for a short time or do they really want to live in ME for a long time? But how long can anyone live with its neighbors by forcing them? Power is not something which will remain forever.  In the past, Romans had the power to control things in the world. Iranians had the same in their times. World saw the power of Muslims then the rise of Great Briton and France. Until 1990, the Soviet Union was considered a super power with USA. So it is simple that Israel will not have power forever, but if ever its neighbors become powerful what would be the situation then?

It is quite understandable that in every society around the world there would be a few extreme elements. But majority will never be like that. Every human wants to live a good life with dignity. But if someone has a miserable life and nothing is going in their favor, than it will lead him towards extremism. Unfortunately Israel’s continued pressing actions have made people to think extremely.

For any person, his or her life is the most precious thing. If to secure our lives we have to give all the things we will do it as life comes first. But how can someone become a suicide bomber by knowing that he will lose his life by himself? It comes with the mind that what conditions he is living and does he have any future if he does not commit it. Why have Palestinians and Iraqis predominantly become suicide bombers? We just need to analyze the living conditions there and it would not be very difficult to answer. The hate produced more hate.

One thing which is quite astonishing is that the government in Lebanon is considered to be pro American, and still Israel is trying to destroy its infrastructure and economy, creating huge difficulties for commoners. A common person may not be an anti-Israeli, but if these actions would make his life difficult, then he would be. What would be the outcome? Now Hezbollah has 20% of the seats in the Lebanon parliament, but in the next elections in Lebanon, we could see a government of Hezbollah, because the people’s hate against Israel. Will it suit Israel?  Until now, Israel is facing suicide bombers from only Philistine but now with the actions against civilians in Lebanon, it could also lead them on the same path. In response to IRA bombing, does England ever tried to block Ireland or against Kurds bombing incidents? No, but these countries tackle the issues with wisdom and respected the civilian rights there and situation is different now. If they would have used force or power to punish all, situation would have been the same as it is in the Middle East now. Israel can learn many things from the past and can make the situation better for themselves and for others.

Mr. George W. Bush, the president of United States, has said that Osama bin Laden and Al-Qaeda is a group of terrorists the killed our innocent people, so we will kill them and the same has been said by Osama that America is a terrorist because it killed our innocent people, so we will continue our actions.  Israel clam Hamas / Hezbollah as a terrorist organization and Hamas/Hezbollah consider Israel as a terrorist country. Who is wrong and who is right?  Things seemed to be quite difficult to be solve, but they can be solved if everyone starts respecting others and doing the justice. By calling each other terrorists, there will be no solution. If Israel, Philistine, Lebanon, and others want to remain there, then they need to sit down to end their differences. They have no other choice but to live together, otherwise if they continue fighting each other, there will be land but without people, and land does not make a country, but people do.
