| A standoff in Gilbertsville, Douglass Township ending with a man's death. The standoff started around 7:00AM when police officers went to deliver a warrant to Michael Reck, 43, for failing to appear in court on a drunk driving charge. He threatened police and the standoff continued for several hours. Police heard shots from inside the house and called in a SWAT team. Around 1:15PM, police entered the house to find that Reck had shot himself. | ||||
