Cheers for the Red, White, and Blue!
Say "Thanks" to Soldiers,
Celebrate the Fourth of July,
Stuff the Bus with the Zuber Realty Amity Sales Team

Barbecues and fireworks mark the typical Fourth of July celebration throughout the United States and within our own communities to celebrate the birth of our beloved country; but this year Zuber Realty agents Kathie Webb, Beth Ashcom, and Shawn Haviland have planned a special celebration to honor today's men and women in uniform serving our country today.

The trio of agents known as the Amity Sales Team are staging a special "Stuff the Bus" event at Redner's Market in Douglassville, on Thursday, July 3, 2008, from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and collecting items requested by our military including toothbrushes, band aids, writing tablets, and flea collars.

"The list of items is quite long," explained Webb, "but we'll distribute the list to shoppers as they enter the store to assist them. And, as always, our soldiers are in desperate need of support and prayers."

Ashcom noted, "Given the chance, the folks in our area are eager to demonstrate their patriotism by donating what is needed. Our gratitude for the sacrifices which allow us to enjoy a clean bed at night and the ease of adjusting our A/C settings, for example, far exceeds our abilities to express it on a daily basis."

Navy veteran Haviland will don his uniform to mark the occasion. "We're offering a simple way to serve our country; and we know an opportunity like this is often welcomed. We at Zuber Realty are proud to help in this way."

Patriotic music is planned to rouse the spirit and attract the shoppers. The agents sporting shirts in the country's colors of red, white, and blue, along with a pickup truck decorated in flags will serve to signal the drop off point for donations which will then be shipped for distribution.

The Zuber mini-bus, out of commission for this event, offers a willing substitute in Boyertown's "DaDa Trk" the proud carrier for the community's Bear Fever bears. "Like all of us, from time to time, our mini bus is in need of some repair," explained Rich Zuber, "and Boyertown's infamous pickup responded to our call for assistance!"

Items can also be dropped off at any of the Zuber Realty offices during regular business hours through July 15, 2008. Zuber Realty locations include in Boyertown, 201 East Philadelphia Avenue; in Pottstown, 2117 East High Street; in Morgantown, 3319 Main Street; in Royersford, 830 Chestnut Street; in Red Hill, 700 Main Street.
