The Boyertown Area Senior High track is undergoing a complete makeover this summer. The dirt and cinder track is being bulldozed away to make space for the new all weather track that will be easier on the athlete's legs and knees and make them less prone to injury. The Boyertown Superintendant, Doctor Harry Morgan and the Victory Mile Committee were present to break ground on the new track.

The Victory Mile Committee is composed of teachers, coaches, athletes, business owners, parents, and students in the Boyertown area.

This new track will be the most up-to-date in the area and will have eight lanes, instead of the standard six lanes.

When the track is fully completed there will be a victory mile walk to commemorate the completion of the new track.

Hopefully the new all weather track will encourage more local athletic activity as well as bring in more people to events including bringing back the Venkse Relay Races to this facility.
