Boyertown Aiming for Revitalization

On Wednesday, January 18th, 2006, members of the public, business owners, and other Boyertown community members gathered for a meeting at the Boyertown Borough hall.  The meeting was to inform the public how the borough and the BBB (Building a Better Boyertown) plan to make changes and work with local businesses and organizations to make the borough more appealing to shoppers and visitors.

Various subjects were discussed such as store types and locations, parking, land and property values to businesses, and other ways to bring the public to Boyertown to do their shopping.  No decisions were made, however, at this meeting; the meeting was only to discuss future ways of working with these subjects and to inform the public of upcoming events.

Within the next few months, a survey is expected to be made available to ask the public about its shopping habits and local business needs and wants.  The survey will be available in print form and online at www.boyertownsurvey.com.
