WZAR News

Your Community. On Video.

The People

Posted by WZAR Staff On July - 29 - 2009

While you may only see a few faces on-screen, there are many who contribute to WZAR TV.

Zachary Reinert
Zach is the owner and creator of WZAR TV.  He first became interested in computers, which then expanded into television, with an old VHS camcorder, a VCR, and a television.  Zach continued to build his collection of equipment until he had a fully functional TV studio.  He decided that he should put it to use and do one of his other favorite things to do, serve the community.

Zach now continues to manage WZAR TV and hosts WZAR News and Mile27.  He does many of the administrative and technical tasks, as well as being the primary editor of TV shows and customer projects.  He hopes to continue to expand to better serve the community and to inspire others.  Zach is also a collector of vintage television and broadcast items and is known for spending the majority of his time at the studio, whether it’s for work or play.

Bethanne Reinert
Beth has been with WZAR since the early days, usually providing on-air talent.  She was originally known for going around to car shows and other public events and performing interviews with the people there.  These days, though, she is often found shooting video for WZAR News, assisting in writing the show, managing the community calendar, and doing other administrative tasks.  Beth also enjoys taking photos of the world around her.

Mary Kent
Mary provides production assistance on many shoots for WZAR and often assists with the production of WZAR News.  She also does graphic design of the website and other tasks that require a creative eye, as well as helping to prepare projects for customers.  Mary enjoys photography and working with the public.

Brian Hiltner
Brian can be seen providing production assistance to various projects.  He is the technical director for WZAR News and runs our switcher and playback system during the show.  He is also regularly a camera operator for WZAR’s Mile 27 TV show.  Brian enjoys computer gaming and working in emergency services.

Brian Bartoszek
Brian provides technical audio support during WZAR News shows and other projects.  He’s great at working with the sound mixer and making our performers sound their best.

Rob Reider
Rob provides assistance with shoots in whatever way he is needed.  He occasionally shoots for WZAR News and has shot for Mile27.  He also really enjoys shooting sports and has traveled to Virginia to shoot video of the Bears Baseball for WZAR TV.

Phil Haddad
Phil lives and breathes sports and loves following the Boyertown sports teams.  He enjoys interviewing players and coaches as well as writing articles about games, catching every detail and statistic.
